I have been so busy and haven't been around much. I miss morning coffee with you guys! I will be getting up a bit earlier to make sure that I can fit my favorite art community in. I sure do miss it. I am still working on Jackson....currently trying to get his eyes like you had suggested. They are coming along. I am taking my time with it, not rushing it. I hope you have a great weekend! I am sure you are playing on Saturday night......hope it goes well. Let me know how you are doing and what you are up to, and of course how is your pack doing? Is it summer break for you yet? less

Thanks everyone! Now if I can just get my printer working! Spent most of evening trying to fix it. Wait a minute! I forgot! All I need to do is slam it a little, then throw it against the wall!

Is ti communicating with your computer??? ...once you determine if you need an updated printer driver...check to see if it is communicating with your computer...if not. unplug it, shut down, replug it...start up again. .... If that doesn't work... Uninstall it, shut down, start up. ...then reinstall , shut down, start up....it should advise that you have a new device...then go into the shortcut and update any fixes ...from the website...(go to help within the application...there should be a line items that says "update" or options for auto update). I always set my options for my applications to auto update...then it's always up to date. If that doesn't work........throw it against the wall cause it's broken anyway. ...take two aspirin and call me in the morning..:DLOL less

It was working perfect, ran out of ink, replaced cartridge, went to print, keeps coming up with error, did everything it said to do, same error, friend came over to work on it, he tried everything, finally got it to print test page, yeh its fixed-went to print for sketch, error again, so, he got up on the roof, threw it in the street, and rolled over it with his 18 wheeler, and now it works just like new!!!!!!!! PS going to try your regime shortly!

If that works... there is a communication cliche with the photo application... To solve the problem... sometimes the application has a "fix" in the options... like a file is missing... If you can't find it.....uninstall the application... and reinstall...with your printer all hooked up...like normal.....My Print Shop Photo Pro app... does the same thing... and cliches all the time... so I edit in that app..save and just stopping trying to print from it and print from Kodak... or Word. Bam... prints. Since I'm getting a new computer... not going to take the time to uninstall and reinstall. less

He puts more thought into the design of the piece and pays more attention to details like weeds and twigs, than most wildlife painters...you'll be inspired...let me know!!

When drawing with charcoal especially different types such as dark, a blending stop, compressed charcoal pencil and white charcoal pencil, (you have me studying now!) What is the best spray to use for the end of the picture, which I'm only practicing now but what is it I should buy? Can you help a girl out? :) :) :)
Dave Bohannan
Blending stump...just a very tightly wrapped sheet of paper to smudge tones together with, smoothly...Also called a tortillion...

Just didn't want you going thru life saying blending stop as that would negate the act of blending would it not? LOL:)

Linda JonesYes dear it would. Seeing as you taught me how to answer correctly by using the comment up above we can't have me talking funny! That just wouldn't do. I was watching the virtual instructor drawing calm water. Too cool!!! :) :) Linda's a happy girl today.... moreYes dear it would. Seeing as you taught me how to answer correctly by using the comment up above we can't have me talking funny! That just wouldn't do. I was watching the virtual instructor drawing calm water. Too cool!!! :) :) Linda's a happy girl today. Also got a 3 year old labrador for Gunner to play with. Poor boy missed Maggie Mae so much and now he's in Heaven. Her name was Shadow but we changed it to Treme sounds like Tramay. We always change their name because if they had a bad experience then along with a new nice home they get a new nice name. She probably thought, "damn didn't they think to tell them my name? She answers to it nicely now. She's a beauty! When I get some film I post her picture. less
